Spearheaded by Zorro Escondido and a growing community of committed guardians, veterans, and wisdom keepers, Ocóyái was founded as a living sanctuary for healing, reconnection, and sacred reciprocity.
Our mission is rooted in preserving the spiritual traditions of Yagé, protecting Indigenous sovereignty, and offering a path of healing for those seeking a way home — especially military veterans.
Ocóyái walks in alliance with the Murui (Witoto), Siona, Nutabe, and Wiwa peoples, honoring their spiritual authority, traditional territories, and sacred guidance. Rather than extract from these traditions, we seek to uplift and protect their original carriers — ensuring that any healing shared with the world is anchored in deep respect and direct support for the elders, families, and communities that have safeguarded these medicines for generations.
Our primary region of focus spans Antioquia, Putumayo, and the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, where we collaborate directly with traditional authorities to implement initiatives that serve both the land and the people.
Projects are developed with and for the community — from sustainable infrastructure and food sovereignty to spiritual education and access to healing retreats. Together, we walk the prophecy of the Eagle and the Condor — weaving the strength of the North with the wisdom of the South, in service to a more conscious and connected humanity.
