🌱 At Ocóyái, your initiation begins on the first evening in our Maloka — a sacred space prepared with intention, prayer, and care. This opening ceremony marks your first encounter with Yagé (Ayahuasca), gently introducing you to the wisdom of the medicine and setting the path for the days ahead.
The spirit of the vine works as both a mirror and a guide, scanning your body and soul, revealing what is ready to be seen, and surfacing what most needs healing. This first night is an invitation to understand “who you have become” — a foundation for the deeper work that will follow.
The guiding intentions of this opening are clear and simple:
✨ Show me who I’ve become
✨ Heal my heart
✨ Unite me with my soul
You will be supported every step of the way by the elders, facilitators, and medicine team — ensuring that your first steps on this journey are held in safety, reverence, and compassion.
🌙 On the second evening at Ocóyái, the journey deepens. The medicine begins to cleanse not only the body but also the subtle layers of the heart and spirit, releasing energies and patterns that no longer serve your path forward.
This night invites you into deeper waters — where emotional and spiritual obstacles are brought into the light to be understood and dissolved. The medicine works gently yet powerfully, unveiling truths and guiding you toward a more authentic alignment with your soul.
The music of the Maloka — songs, icaros, and medicine melodies — becomes a bridge. Each note may awaken something hidden, guiding your breath, your heartbeat, and your awareness into harmony with the currents of healing energy moving through you.
As old layers peel away, clarity begins to emerge. You may feel challenged, uplifted, humbled, or renewed — often all at once. This is the work of Yagé, preparing you for the even deeper revelations that await on the third night.
🌌 On the third evening, the journey often reaches its deepest point.
Building on the foundation of the first two nights, this ceremony carries you further into the heart of the medicine’s work. By this stage, Yagé has already begun cleansing and opening your body, mind, and spirit — now she guides you into the core of transformation.
This night is often the most intense and revealing, inviting you to surrender fully into the process. In the embrace of the Maloka, you may find yourself dissolving old patterns at the root, stepping beyond the limits of the mind, and entering the vast mystery where profound healing and rebirth can occur.
The experience is not always easy — you may feel stretched, challenged, or humbled — yet it is through this surrender that the deepest clarity and renewal emerge. This is the night where the medicine shows you not just who you have been, but who you are becoming.
☀️ Night Four marks the homecoming — the culmination of your journey.
This final ceremony weaves together the insights and transformations of the previous nights, guiding you into the deepest work of the week.
By this stage, the medicine has opened, cleansed, and revealed layer after layer. Tonight, she invites you to integrate it all — to bring the teachings into wholeness, and to step into a new chapter of your life with clarity and purpose.
The all-night ceremony is both a celebration and a prayer. Immersed in the songs, rhythms, and blessings of the Maloka, you are carried through the night by the guidance of the elders and medicine team. Each moment is an offering — a chance to unify what has been revealed and to step forward with renewed strength and clarity.
As dawn arrives, many emerge with a profound sense of belonging, direction, and peace — hearts open, souls steady, and spirits ready to carry this transformation back into daily life. It is a rebirth into wholeness, a return to yourself, and a reminder that you are never alone on this path.
These retreats are for people who are ready to go beyond surface-level healing.
For the ones who’ve tried everything — therapy, medication, numbing, escaping — and still feel something missing.
Whether you are a spiritual seeker, a veteran, or simply a human carrying weight… this is for you.
You don’t need to be perfect. Just present.
Yagé is not a trend. It is a teacher.
Our work is rooted in the guidance of Indigenous wisdom keepers — not tourism, not ego.
We don’t just serve medicine — we hold space for its full arc: from preparation to ceremony to grounded integration in life.
Colombia is home to ancient lineages, untouched nature, and a spirit that still whispers through the jungle.
The contribution for our 7-day retreat typically ranges from $1,500 to $2,500 USD, depending on accommodation type and financial need.
This supports not just your personal healing, but the elders, the land, and the Indigenous community that holds this sacred work.
We offer limited scholarships for veterans and those in financial need. We also accept donations to sponsor others.
Ocóyái, a beautiful place, a dream, a vision come true, a project of a wonderful couple, Scottie and Alejandra, and the great work of many people who came together to build with their own hands and with the best intentions so that those of us who gather there can find that home where we can pray as a family. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
A magical place where ancient wisdom is shared, incredible experience. 🩵🩵🩵
A wonderful place in the mountains, perfect for connecting with your inner self, enjoying nature, and retreating from everyday life!
Loving and compassionate medicine people, smooth organization. Loved the concept and being grounded to earth. Overall atmosphere was very relaxing, supporting, and welcoming.
Really impactful work, enjoyable. I felt a lot of love, it was down to earth and the group was really connected. A lot of vulnerability, sharing, love, heart opening, and joy.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for each and every one of you, especially Scottie and team for leading us through this experience.
It's time.
Yagé is the Colombian tradition of Ayahuasca, guided by Indigenous elders and used in ceremonial healing. While chemically similar, its spirit and cultural context are unique.
