🌿 Who we are
Ocóyái is a online mentorship and indigenous-led community designed to help healing become a way of life, not a temporary experience.
We support people who have already begun their growth journey and are looking for structure, guidance, and real community so change actually lasts.
Our work brings together modern therapeutic understanding and ancestral wisdom through three core pathways:
Education that helps you understand your nervous system, trauma patterns, relationships, and preparation for deeper work.
Live coaching and group spaces that provide consistent guidance, accountability, and reflection.
Respectful collaboration with indigenous elders who share cultural knowledge, language, and relational teachings that cannot be learned through information alone.
Rather than centering peak experiences, Ocóyái focuses on stability, integration, and long-term transformation.
Some people join for mentorship.
Some join to reconnect with community.
Some eventually participate in in-person immersions on our land in Colombia.
All begin in the same place: learning how to live in a way that makes healing sustainable.

Every time I go, it feels like brotherhood — open-hearted, genuine, and full of purpose. Scottie's desire to serve ignites a candle in each of us, helping us become better people and community.
It was a before and after in my life. After going to fifteen doctors, this was what truly helped me heal. It made me see my trauma, my lineage, and my purpose — and I found family here. I didn’t just heal my body; I healed my mind and my heart.
With this kind of medicine work, you never feel alone — you feel something greater than your fears. If you want a different life and don’t know where to start, this is the place to begin.
The space is strong enough to hold you through all of your mess — that’s the beauty of working here. It feels like the layers of the city fall away as you enter the jungle. The Maloka is pure genius — a woven tapestry of grounding and connection. Okóyái is my heart’s home, where I can return, fall apart, and remember who I am.
The difference in this place is that healing happens with family. From the first moment, everyone treats you like family — surrounded by laughter, care, and support through every step. What’s really worth it is going there to experience it for yourself.
Ocóyái, a beautiful place, a dream, a vision come true, a project of a wonderful couple, Scottie and Alejandra, and the great work of many people who came together to build with their own hands and with the best intentions so that those of us who gather there can find that home where we can pray as a family.
